Don't have any hate towards Sri Lanka, West Indies and Bangladesh, just don't have any great feelings for them.

As for India...

England/Pakistan/West Indies are about the same for me

Then its NZ/SL/SA

Then OZ/India/Bangladesh

I don't find any team massively hateable or likeable ATM. India and Australia would be one place higher but for Ravi Shastri and C9

I'll admit the last one has a lot to do with the recent series that I dreamt about where we lost 4-0

Pakistan are ranked low purely because of the rivalry thing. Don't really have a problem with most of their players. Sri Lanka are ranked high despite Dilshan.

England tops, obv.

---------------------Like-line--------

Pakistan in second. It's been a mixture of entertaining cricket combined with a certain schadenfreude for the fans. The scandal last year nearly destroyed them for me, but Misbah's utterly nonesensical return before actually finding sudden success with an almost completely new side warmed me to them again. Been somewhat weird with them being a bit too good and a bit too dull lately, but they hold the second place for now.

Sri Lanka third. They've got quite a few players I really admire and/or love to watch, like Jayawardene, and until recently Murali and Jayasuriya. The fans tend to be long-suffering rather than whiny or ignorant in my experience, so that's a plus.

Zimbabwe fourth. It's all very new and promising. I like what they've done with Zimbabwe's cricket, even if I have to ignore what's going on in the rest of the country. I was once here with Bangladesh, so I can't say whether or not it'll last. I hope it does.

-----------Meh-line--------------

New Zealand fifth. Remarkably inoffensive. And it's cute how the fans will be annoyed by that comment.

West Indies are sixth, and the first team I have any sort of beef with. The way the team is run is utterly indefensible, and while I don't have any real problem with their players (the ones who show up, I mean) or fans, it annoys me when people make excuses for them along the lines of not having their best players. As far as I'm concerned it's a part of their team. That said, I do like a lot of their new players, I like Chanderpaul, and they're starting to show promise. So a neutral response.

------------Got-Beef-line-------------

South Africa in seventh, and they're only really saved from the lower echelons by having Dale Steyn in their ranks. So many limp invitations to the "choking" tag that's infecting cricket discussion. So many people bigging up their team solely on account of their strength on paper. So many cricketers who you have to respect as one of the greats, but would have to be an absolute robot to be a fan of.

India down in eighth for the reasons you'd expect. Cricketers lifted up to superstar status on the basis of very little. Too many new cricketers that are slap-happy batsmen or uninspiring bowlers. Their board combining vicious bullying, dick-swinging, in-fighting and incompetence into some sort of huge, permanantly confused dog that constantly humps everything. Getting too bloody good at one-day cricket, and then having people act like I should care about it. It's a good job we owned them this summer or I might have an actual problem with them.

Bangladesh just in the pack, but ninth. I would have called them my second favourite side a year ago, I was one of these misguided idealists firmly in the "Bangladesh aren't ****" camp for a long time and was finally starting to see some progress. Since then it's been moving backwards, and vastly worse than that is a mindset of not trying that's been seen time and time again. I wash my hands of them.

-----------Irrational-Line------------

Australia last. They're Australia ffs.

Yea, it took A LOT for me to rank Australia and England below Pakistan.

Glad to see most people have beef with India, makes the series all the more interesting. Would never want India cuddling up with any of the other teams. Especially not Australia, never Australia!

Bangladesh are just unbelievably ****. International cricket wouldn't miss them if they were to be chucked out of cricket forever. 10 years at the top level and you can't even beat a Zimbabwe side playing their first Test for 6 years? Just **** off.

My dislike of South Africa is more irrational. I just find it so funny watching them lose. They've got very few likeable cricketers as well, Steyn is alright I suppose.

India have some absolute guns (Dravid ), their **** quotient has been dramatically cut now that Sreesanth, Harbhajan and Yuvraj have all been given the boot, and some of you guys are all right I guess.

Don't worry, you will soon change your ranking, when we thrash you in our next Test series.

I think you've made a mistake there mate, you've got Oz ranked 3, that can't be right. Any self respecting Englishman would have them as low as they can go.
