The cleanest IMO. Looks almost effortless but boy do they fly off the bat when he gets them in the middle.Haddin has to be one of the cleanest strikers down the ground going around these days
5.7 mag in Picton, but fairly deep at 60 kms belowPretty big earthquake in Wellington just then.
**** hope no one was hurt down there.5.7 mag in Picton, but fairly deep at 60 kms below
I don't think they've bowled all *that* badly tbh. Bracewell yesterday, definitely, some of the new ball bowling wasn't brilliant either but they've not disgraced themselves.Vettori averaging 40 with the ball (and with the bat) in the last 4 years against test opposition who are not minors or the Windies. Batting misfired in the first innings but the big problem with New Zealand is their attack, it is rank.
I'd be surprised, 60 kms is too deep for much surface damage from a 5.7 mag quake**** hope no one was hurt down there.
Yeah Vettori and Brownlie basically showed the top order that they let us down in a big way. Particularly the way our batsman got themselves out. If we put up 400 in the first innings this second dig would be in an entirely different light. Batting has just gotten easier as the day has progressed, Haddin hasn't been troubled at all while Ponting and Clarke had to deal with a fair bit more in their innings.Vettori averaging 40 with the ball (and with the bat) in the last 4 years against test opposition who are not minors or the Windies. Southee has been a disappointment. Medium pacer at times.I don't think they've bowled all *that* badly tbh. Bracewell yesterday, definitely, some of the new ball bowling wasn't brilliant either but they've not disgraced themselves.
There was about a 15min break when Young nearly lost his teeth.Have they been off the field at all today? This seems a pretty slow rate in an extended day. I gather NZ have bowled pretty tight?
Always been a bowler that had it in him to bowl 135-145 but seems to be more worried about his line and length at the moment.Southee has been a disappointment. Medium pacer at times.
Has been, although there was a 10 minute-ish break when Young got whacked in the mouth.Have they been off the field at all today? This seems a pretty slow rate in an extended day. I gather NZ have bowled pretty tight?
