Not Terrible
Can't really fault the bowling effort from Bangladesh. But I can rage at their batting.

Pakistani's are terrible players of SLA reckon if BD can get a score in of the games Shakib might be all over us like a rash.

Bangladesh have about a dozen serviceable SLA waiting in the ranks. All of whom are probably allrounders. 9 SLA + Tamim and Rahim = success?

imo tests will not be as easy as some people think if BD can bat first and score 250 i think they will be in the business Shakib will surely trouble us however BD has to make sure they atleast score 450 runs in the match.

This still doesn't solve the problem of the bangers batting coming good in even one innings

Misbah having a good effect on Afridi. In his interview Afridi said that Misbah always tells him to bat according to conditions, which is why he changed his game today and took his time. Maybe he should have done this 10 years ago.

Bangladesh are taking valuable space on cricket calender.Kick them out and bring Ireland in.

Oh and for the record, this match is the closest Bangladesh will come to 'troubling' Pakistan.Everything will be a walk in the park.I think our bowlers should play as specialist batsmen and the bowlers should play as specialist batsmen. It would help Bangladesh from getting hammered to only getting beaten.

This is classic Pakistani TC culture, Misbah during the T20 against SL said it was afridi who was the match winning impact in that game, YES afridi two sixes when we needed 20 runs in 12 balls. But in T20 cricket 7 times out of ten one would back batting side in that scenario when the batting side has at least two wickets in hands. So, that was not out-of-ordinary for afridi to score those runs. BUT the guy who actually should have been mentioned with the word that Misbah used for Afridi was Cheema...But he is not super star, neither is he ever going to become a captain or he will be of any threat to Misbah so No need to give him anything more than a pat on the back and try to please his ego by over the top congratulations.

Now is Afridi returing the favor. Typical Pak Senior Player TC culture.

You realize that 99% of the members here don't have a clue about what TC means in Pakistan?

And it's pretty ironic. When the players don't give credit to each other, they are blamed for being arrogant. When the players give credit to each other, they are accused of sucking up to the seniors.

What exactly does a cricketer need to do to be appreciated in Pakistan?Roughen up one half of the moon and bowl reverse swing to Saturn?Even if he does that, you'll say the player was doing it to suck up to Jupiter.

Misbah is an intelligent leader. He knows who to compliment and when to do it. That's why he has been able to lead this side smoothly. I'm sorry if you have a problem with that but I would rather have a captain like Misbah, who knows how to handle his players. And how do you know that Misbah did not praise Cheema after the game. I'm sure that all these guys have a good working relationship behind the scenes and that they support and encourage each other all the time. That's how sports teams operate.

A good team leader is able to empower people underneath him. Therefore he should know what his players are like. I think Misbah understands this and therefore treats each player accordingly. For Afridi (who has an ego problem) it's all about over the top praises in front of the world media. For Cheema it could be a pat on the back and a positive word in his ears about his good performance. Everyone is different and should be handled differently.
