I think it's a point that England's quick bowlers will not be as effective due to the conditions, but I think any quick bowling unit will struggle on these decks, not the fact that this England bunch are not skilled enough. If England's attack struggle to have an impact then I would suggest virtually every Test attack will struggle and will need to be helped significantly by some poor batting.
It may be that Swann, and possibly our second spinner, become the attacking options while the likes of Anderson, Bresnan, Broad or whoever, keep a lid on things at the other end. It does not look easy to penetrate on these decks, but I do think our seam attack can do a disciplined job. Fielding may be huge here as you'd expect chances to be in short supply, so the likes of Anderson (in slip to Swann), Cook, Bell, etc, all those likely to field close to the bat will need to be razor sharp.
