I don't think young Nic is in much danger just at the moment, but he does need to regain his form soon. How many days older was Maddinson than Patterson when he made his debut ton? Can't have been much in it.

100 odd days. trying to find details of NSW records is pretty annoying, but I would have thought that brings him into the top three youngest players to make a ton for nsw full stop. Archie Jackson of course having a pretty firm hold on that, being 17 and all

Man Townsend is boring, went to watch the game and ended up watching a seven year old on the hill carve out 170 (admittedly dubious scoring) while Townsend went from 96 to 103. Looks an absolute road though, how will we **** this up and lose outright??
