Haha, sorry, only just woke up after 4 hours sleep and completely misread your post. Thought it said something along the lines of "I always thought he was ****". Didn't think it sounded like something you'd say.

Love Song myself, is easily amongst my favourite Arsenal players. Team looks much the worse when he's not in it as well. Pretty underated I would say.

If we get Jack and Sagna back without anyone else important breaking again, it makes you wonder how good we can actually be. Loving Arteta and Koscielny especially too.

Song is awesome, never gives the ball away and one of the best in the league at breaking up opposing attacks with fouls in useless positions.

Oh don't. It's this sort of talk which leads to the annual Arsenal cycle of hype and disappointment.

What **** thought that Stoke vs Blackburn would be an appropriate game to televise? These are the sorts of games that the EPL hype machine should be pretending don't happen, not broadcasting it to the world.

Cue a 4-4 draw or something now.

I always found it amusing how these sorts of games get the "Super Sunday" tag when shown on the second day of the weekend as well.

Amusing how Blackburn are tanking it yet again though. Was that article you linked about Kean getting a new contract confirmed btw?

Edit: Seems like it has, what a joke.

Really enjoying this game tbh. Stoke's football has actually been quite nice, some lovely linking passing. Blackburn's defending awful as always this season though.

Love it how the media always gets on the back of foreign owners and goes on about how they should stick with their managers. But the one time that a foreign owner really ought to sack the guy in charge...they offer him a pay rise and a new deal. Great way to do business. Bet Sam Allardyce is laughing his head off.

Manchester United v Newcastle? Nah, let's cover Stoke v Blackburn instead.

Idiots.

Everton with absolutely nothing here, even with an extra man. Long ball it to Saha who is trying to lay it off should not be Plan A.

And heaps of talk regarding QPR's new signings for the summer. Hope they buy some flipping defenders. DJ, Bothroyd, Helguson and Mackie is more than enough up front.

They're actually level with Fulham for the lowest amount of goals scored at home this season.

Blimey, a penalty awarded (and converted) at Old Trafford to a team that isn't Man Utd. Can't remember the last time that happened.

'Demba Ba is the first opposing player to score an #EPL penalty at Old Trafford in over a year, since Steven Gerrard in September 2010 #MUFC'

Seems to be that bit funnier as it sounds as though it should never had been a penalty. According to the Sky Sports panel, Ferdinand played the ball clearly out for a corner. However, Fergie's just put the board up for a further 4 minutes of injury time, Newcastle somehow holding on by the sounds of it!

The worst part of that result will be having to read about Newcastle "holding on bravely" in the match reports when in reality they defended like confused geriatrics and lucked out because United didn't take any of their easy chances.

Well that goes some way towards balancing out at least 20 years of calls that have gone unfailingly in United's favour.

Meanwhile, it's been a Good Day in League One.
