There will always be an element of 'that is just the way he plays' with McCullum, but a few more shots along the ground would be nice.

Over 17.4: Beer to Guptill, FOUR, uses his feet, drives down the ground!
Over 17.1: Beer to Guptill, FOUR, dances foward, lofts it over mid on.

Guppy using his feet to the spinner... sweet.

Edit:
Over 17.6: Beer to Guptill, no run, anchors on the front foot, blocks down the pitch. NZ 0/92.
Back to normal.

Great first session for NZ.

Starc and Pattinson had their arses handed to them.

Good toss to lose.

Third six by McCullum!

Did read in the paper that the pitch was expected to be fairly flat. Interesting that Aus A chose to bowl though.

Swayed by the weather conditions, I'm sure.

20 fours and 3 sixes in 24 overs. That's poor bowling.

swayed by the fact we pick our test team tonight and there's some bowling spots open.

Sounds like he's rediscovered his form.

Four sixes. What sort of size is the ground?
