Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
My team so far:

Walter Read
Phil Mead
Fred Spofforth
Jack Saunders

Read will most likely be my 12th man. Jack Saunders not bad to provide a left arm pace bowler's option.

Noble One

International Vice-Captain
Team looking something like this:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6. Monty Noble
7.
8.
9. Frank Laver
10. George Lohmann
11.

12. Tom Garrett

4.
5.
6.
7. George Giffen

9.
10. Charlie Blythe
11. JJ Ferris

12.

Giffen will most likely be my 12th man, but Blythe and Ferris look like very good bowlers.

Interesting that MacLaren and McDonald got picked immediately after my pick. I considered them both but didn't like their test averages. I am a stats man :D
Considered MacLaren and Mead even while I was picking Fry. Was quite happy to see one of them come down to me for the next round.

Cricketer Of The Year
1. Grace
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7. Rhodes
8. Gilligan
9. Lockwood
10.

A festival of all rounders so far. Lockwood or Gilligan could end up carrying the drinks I think, fine players though they both undoubtedly were.

7.Billy Murdoch+
8.Jack Gregory
9.Ted Mcdonald

Murdoch as keeper may seem a strange choice, but he kept at first-class level and was actually Australia's first choice keeper until Blackham came along. Was probably Australia's best bat before Trumper too.

By the way, has anyone seen or conversed with centurymaker lately, either here or elsewhere? He indicated on Cricsim that he was taking some time away from the site, and if he won't be back for a while perhaps it's best if someone else took over for him, on a caretaking basis.

The Tiger King
might as well eliminate him from the competition. That would leave easier choices for the other players in the draft.
