Yeah Chandimal was a breath of fresh air compared to the old farts of the team plodding away. Someone at the top needs to figure out that Tharanga sucks and Mahela would be awesome opening instead of him.

These guys are just bad. Sangakarra and Mahela are part of the problem and Tharanga is just garbage.

Dunno whats going on. These guys used to score at a run a ball with ease and now most of them are striking under 50. Even in the test matches we've been batting so slow, scoring at 1 or 2 an over for long periods. Have they all forgotten how to bat suddenly?
Serious problems with this team now. I honestly think that the best thing that can happen to them right now is to lose test status. That way they can give the limited over team more priority and bring in some fresh faces without having to worry about saving test matches while the team struggles. In tests we might have a hard time bowling out Bangladesh and Zimbabwe at the moment with the right and left arm medium garbage that we hurl.
Target the next world cup and bring in the youngsters to play around the likes of Mahela and Sanga. Players like Tharanga are a waste of time, if he doesn't get width he can't do a damn thing, not even work the ball into gaps. Useless pile of dung.

Completely agree on Tharanga.
Sanga doesnt deserve a place in the ODI side either. No idea why they are using him as the keeper or at one down. Game after game he comes during the PP and just stops trying to score.
In fact when Tharanga and Sanga bat together, SL are guaranteed a loss.
I am so pissed off right now watching this garbage, I am hoping for a complete rebuild like they did after the 99 WC.

don't get me wrong i rate him as a limited overs cricketer but those stas don't deserve the superstar status that he has acquired in Pakistan.
