I meant the one that was dropped, its missing the stumps comfortably even if it didn't move.Easier said than done. Gotta play their shots here, no point staying around.
That'd be lucky. So if you review something even though you think it's probably out, but it turns out the bowler has overstepped or you actually did nick it and hotspot doesn't show anything and you've given not out there's no element of luck there?
kk.
And that's why i said Australia should review everything today in the initial post, as it's their day as far as the decisions being reviewed are concerned.By this logic, not reviewing the Watson lbw was actually unlucky.
What if the non-striker indicates that he thought it was a no-ball?So if you review something even though you think it's probably out, but it turns out the bowler has overstepped or you actually did nick it and hotspot doesn't show anything and you've given not out there's no element of luck there?

Lol, it doesn't make any sense though unless the HawkEye paths are somehow random and not related to what actually happened. Which I know is your position. I'll STFU about it now though; doesn't belong in this thread. And that's why i said Australia should review everything today in the initial post, as it's their day as far as the decisions are concerned.

Umpires are always taught to give the benefit of the doubt to the batsmen, every one of those decisions had enough doubt. UDRS overturned those correctly, however you wouldn't want an umpire to be chastised for any of those decisions. The game moves on, everyone wins. They weren't shockers, but they were still wrong. This idea that UDRS is there to only eliminate obvious howlers is annoying.
