So if you review something even though you think it's probably out, but it turns out the bowler has overstepped or you actually did nick it and hotspot doesn't show anything and you've given not out there's no element of luck there?

And that's why i said Australia should review everything today in the initial post, as it's their day as far as the decisions are concerned.
Lol, it doesn't make any sense though unless the HawkEye paths are somehow random and not related to what actually happened. Which I know is your position. I'll STFU about it now though; doesn't belong in this thread. :p

They weren't shockers, but they were still wrong. This idea that UDRS is there to only eliminate obvious howlers is annoying.
Umpires are always taught to give the benefit of the doubt to the batsmen, every one of those decisions had enough doubt. UDRS overturned those correctly, however you wouldn't want an umpire to be chastised for any of those decisions. The game moves on, everyone wins.
