I'm surprised Sangakkara didn't make it, what with all the man-love he gets around these parts. Feel bad for Jayawardene though. One of the nicest guys around.
Probably doesn't get much love because of his insane hairdo but Malinga is probably the nicest, most down to earth, humble bloke in the entire squad.

Mahela and Sanga are a bit overrated as far as a "nice guy" tag is concerned. Mahela makes up for it a bit with his diplomacy and the awesome way he bats I suppose.

How could I forget Malinga?! I nominated him, FFS :p

Mahela, Sanga and Murali are all great players and great blokes - all worthy of top 16 spots.

And if Arjuna Ranatunga was an English captain, British media would compare him to the likes of Jardine tbh...

If they could forgive Mike Brearley's batting, they would have forgiven Ranatunga's weight as well, one may think
Mike Gatting to disagree. You play one reverse sweep in a world cup final & suddenly it's "Fatt Gatt" this and "Lardy Lothario" that when you're caught allegedly shagging barmaids.

Lack of spinners FTL. Fast bowlers and batsman being more favored than spinners.
