Jeez! Sure looks to come up slow off the deck.

Btw, you saw the whole 3 days? How many runs were scored in the third man region? Any edges that flew through a vacant cordon?
Not many at all.

There have been a decent amount runs down to third man, but most of it has been deliberately guided by the batsmen there.

Edit - Like that.....

Yeah, it's too slow to cause them much discomfort. Still feel that Yuvraj or MS are potential candidates with their tendency to push hard outside the channel. Esp. early in their innings.

Not to mention significantly inferior players to the two batting out there atm

I'm not sure, but I do remember people on here facepalming at the Indian management sending him out to bat with a concussion.
He batted after getting hit on his elbow in the first test and then missed the second test.

Then in the last test he got a concussion while dropping a catch and banging his head on the ground and was even having vomits as a result, when he came out to bat in the last match in both innings IIRC.

Also batted with a Shoulder/Hand injury in SA visibly in discomfort and played a really important innings.

Would be a right, royal hammering if they don't. For the sake of a contest, one hopes they are forced to come out to bat. Whatever be Sammy's shortcomings, he's not someone that'll sit back and take a beating. Still feel that this attack can deliver a proper jab or two.
