Didn't follow the test at all due to commitments this week. I understand from some of your comments though that the track isn't misbehaving like a typical Kotla strip. It certainly looks a lot neater than usual. That gives the hosts a bit more chance, but I believe this West Indian attack is a lot better than people* give them credit for.

Don't exactly mind a 2-wkt triumph or a 5-run victory as long as we see a tooth-and-nail dogfight! :starwars:

Do these Cricinfo commentators know every player personally? Find the constant first name use annoying tbh.

Ok, that was tough! STFU, Sunny. You've never bowled quick, have you? It's never easy taking them on your followthrough. Siva is spot on!

Just need to weather the storm here. Sehwag plays this way whether he makes 30 or 300. A chance could come at any moment, and then Dravid will come in and the game will proceed at a normal pace as long as you don't pie chuck.

Tough chance but the sort that has to be taken if you are going to win.
As Siva said, they either stick or they don't. The best you can do is try to get it in the soft spot of your palm and bear in mind, your momentum is working against you.

Sammy, ftw! Difficult to dislike the guy. Scored good runs and picked up 3 wickets in the first dig. WAG!

Fidexpress never fills me with confidence with the new ball. Maybe Sammy should bowl a neat spell here (and try to nip out a couple) and bring the slingshot on when it's slightly older and reversing. He controls it a lot better when the cherry isn't shiny red and brand new.

Must say, as an Indian fan, you've got to love Gambhir. There's something about the man - his batting style, douchey personality, his WC final knock, 2nd innings average, etc.
