Not really. Easily watch someone like Suresh Raina bat on these pitches where he is at his best than on a pitch where there is extra bounce. So it depends on the batsman and bowlers and how they deal with it.Nah, low bounce is dire. Hinders both batsmen and bowlers and usually makes for really poor watching.
250 / 5 is a pretty par score on day 1 any where in the world and could have been quicker had Braithwaite had a slightly quicker style of scoring.
In any case, nothing can be done about the natural soil of the place and if they put some grass on the surface if it is live and green, it will result in a real flat wicket as it will hold it together and make it consistent.And if they scatter more brown grass on it then though there will be some bounce from some areas on day 1, some areas will remain low and ICC and others will moan about uneven bounce.
