Michael Hussey Vs Kumar Sangakkara

It's hard to compare two players with such different circumstances in terms of test matches. Most likely Sangakarra will finish his career with 50-60 more test matches than Hussey. In terms of talent/ability i would say they are fairly even. The only substantial difference between the two are their ODI and first class averages which might give an indication as to what level Hussey may have been if he'd been selected a few years earlier. That being said Sangakarra is a machine and his record at present time is phenomenal so he gets a vote.

Both pretty much carry their team atm tbh. Can't rate two players that are still playing so I won't vote. But Sangakkara at the moment. We will see by the end of their career who ends up better.

Might give Hussey the nod in limited overs. Its fairly close in tests but I think Sanga would edge it here so will vote for him. Have been very very impressed with Hussey in tests as well, more so recently. He grinds out scores in some fairly difficult conditions and against pretty good bowling while plenty of others look lost.
