I am impressed by McDermott Jr. Hardly played a poor game in his career and is unfortunate that he must compete with so many other pace bowlers in Queensland. I hope Queensland give him a proper run this season.

Would love him to have an extra half a foot in height, though.

Think the smaller contract lists may have played a part. Especially for one form players, like Rimmington and Birt were for their former states.
