Nah, Dilshan, Mathews, Paranavithana got wrong decisions and Taufeeq Umar was given not out on 100 off a blatant nick. SL got one lbw (Azhar Ali IIRC) in their favor and other lbw shouts were pretty dicey. I am only speaking of blatant howlers.

FFS Parana and Mathews were no howlers marginal yes but not shocking or anything.The howlers were Dishan,Misbah and the reprieves for Taufeeq and 2 for PJ both teams were on the end by bad umpiring.

Sangakkara was outstanding and very ably supported by PJ. They dug in, showed great powers of concentration batting under pressure, at the start of their partnership this was the last hope SL had of salvaging a draw, and they managed it with a fantastic 201-run partnership.

Don't think Pakistan bowled badly at all really, the areas were generally pretty good, but as we all know, the fielding was not that of an international Test side.

Pakistan may have suffered from a very low run rate in that first innings, it was no surprise they ultimately ran out of time. To bat through 174.4 overs without increasing the run rate above three an over, is pretty laboured going. The positive is obviously batting for that length of time and registering a score above 500 to put pressure on SL, but they could have put more pressure on them by being a bit more positive.
