Tait is one of those cricketer's I'd like to dissect because he clearly isn't human.

Another one down now, should be all over.

**** me! Would you Adam & Eve it?!?! Why didn't the keeper have a go at the stumps when they ran on the bye?

Helluva a game.

Nah the question is why would you bowl a slower ball when a 6 is needed. A slower ball is a volatile delivery.
Poor option from Christian, yeah. However if the keeper had hit the stumps they'd have needed 7 off the last ball, so it'd have been a moot point.

Great game tho, tbf. T20 at its best.

Should have bowled a slower bouncer
Best option I reckon was a wide-ish yorker. If a tailender needs to hit a six virtually every single one of them on the planet would be looking leg side or straight leg-side. You give yourself a bit of margin by bowling it say a foot outside off. It also pretty much eliminates a 5-wide situation, unless Dhoni is keeping wicket. It is also psychologically better, you know if you get it the length right there's no way it's going for 6. If you get the length a bit wrong it's still going to be hard to hit for 6.

Lol, just saw the scorecard. How the hell Vettori managed to go for just 6 an over off his 4 when the opposition scored 214 is beyond me.
