No luck for bowlers. Perfect yorker squirted out for 4.

Right Morkel what can you do. 27 needed of one over. Off spinner.

Jeez, talk about unlucky. Pretty much the perfect yorker and Bravo squeezes it down to third man for 4.

7 off the over you'd take tho. Liking Cooper a lot; useful cricketer.

Cooper did get pretty lucky with that non-wide though, so he's done okay there.

Yeah, like his change o' pace. Quick & full or short & slow, it works.

Dhoni's innings made the difference.

Looks like at least Morkel has some idea of how the NRR is calculated.

What a good day for cricket.

Nah ****, still can't bring myself to not support Mumbai

NSW batting lineup still needs work sadly won't be through change of personnel, Katich and Watson haven't made a contribution so you would hope they are due for one. Also would like to see us bring back the interchanged order we had in the first CL, at least that means D Smith won't always be at 3.

I think this has been a much better tournament than the IPL. The cricket has been good and it has shown the importance of having a proper cohesive team.

Well considering the main problem with the IPL is the fact 50% of the teams who win are IPL teams it's no surprise that the Champs League is better

But do IPL franchises take note? They don't! If their teams are floundering against more cohesive units from other countries, they just add more overseas players or cling on to them like their fortunes depend on those players. It's a dependence that can be considered unhealthy.

Only half the teams that win the IPL are actually IPL teams? vitstl.
I guess only half the IPL teams are Indian, but even that's a lot higher, functionally.

The IPL needs a serious retool, with two teams less, and each team plays no more than two overseas players. Four in a team is too much. It's quietly damaging the Indian cricket contender group, with Indians not even getting the full quota of matches for time spent, and part-time foreigners getting every single game. They scout other countries for IPL players, but don't look within their own country. Alternatively, throw out the IPL teams and replace them with two top Indian state T20 sides, with no overseas players.
