Really impressed by Cummins there, especially by backing himself and taking the time to throw down the stumps rather than just having a wild hurl. Seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Reckon his slower ball could do with being a bit faster though, tbh; from 140-150 down to 100ks seems too much of a slower ball for mine.

Symonds playing his reputation to **** here, too. Should call it quits ASAP.

Damn I was hoping one of the umpires was from Mumbai. Would have been a great coincidence given Mumbai CC's foreign mercenary outfit.

They need to get Hughes into the team as quickly as possible as this is ridiculous. If Watson and Warner fail then they are pretty much screwed every game.

Shot Smith!

well for a long time it's always been "If Hughes and Warner fail then we are pretty much screwed"...hence why we can't understand dumping Hughes 'cause outside of the Bigbash this year it's usually fine.

Yep very poor from Kat and Stuart. Moises miracle in the last game papered over some pretty obvious cracks, but they chose to ignore it and hope it would go away. Hughes should be in the side and Smith should be much lower in the order. Kat himself frankly is hard to justify in this format.

Was going to asked how come Haddin wasn't playing, but then remembered he's turning out for the KKR.

Rohrer and Smith playing sensibly here.
