Battle of Cricketers II - CW's Favorite Cricketer (now underway)

I didn't think it was a favourite commentator contest? But in saying that, can totally understand people not voting for Jones.

As a cricketer Deano was very exciting. The sunglasses, the fast running between wickets, the strong throwing and the fact that he walked down the pitch to fast bowlers made him such a fun Cricketer to watch in ODIs in particular, definitely before his time.

not in the vid but I loved when he would scoot half way down the pitch to a spinner, block and run back.

Who doubts him? Isn't he regarded as one of the most promising "young" players around. He could be helped by being given a promotion up the order in ODIs, seems criminal sending him out at six when he has the ability and temperament to bat higher.
