That pitch was awesome on day 4 and 5. 2 giant cracks running down the pitch. Siddle was terrorizing SA by hitting them over and over again. Johnson got Smith out by hitting a crack as well, otherwise he would have saved SA with a broken hand. You don't see pitches with cracks in them anymore.

No there hasn't, in fact apart from the troll on here there has been a serious lack of it. Unless you've got some examples of the threads been derailed with over the top England wumming.

Hastings is gone for the season. Probably opens up the T20 job for Wade. I like Hastings, but I don't think he's anywhere near irreplaceable.

If Cricket Australia have the resources to fly a specialist wicketkeeper to South Africa, what does it matter?
Australia have more chance of winning the Twenty20's with Matt Wade in the side over Brad Haddin. Regardless of the format I much prefer to see Australia winning

Can't hurt to give a young up and coming player a chance to show what he's got on a big stage. Would make sense to give him a place in the ODI squad also even if he only played as a batsman.

Why not have Wade as a back up on the ODIs? Get useless guys like Steve Smith off the team already. Haddin's form is a big concern plus Hastings is gonna be out too so Ferguson can come is in his place.

He's Victorian though, isn't he?
I'm happy for him to play, provided that means no Siddle. Australia never goes well when there's more than one Victorian in the side.
