He really was a cut above the rest wasn't he?
Several cuts TBH. :)

Shows what insane form Haydos was in for a while there too - given his poor start in Test cricket, to be equal third on that list is bloody impressive.

The suggestion was he hadn't played a 'decent' attack so, whilst not great, it was more than decent.

The reason Hussey was so good back then was not because he was that much more accustomed to home conditions and/or he didnt face a decent pace attack; he just started off in a royal purple patch of form.
