This has been terrific stuff from both Bairstow and Bopara btw. Virtually no dot balls, the running between the wickets has been excellent and they've been prepared to give the ball a good biff when the opportunity has arisen.

IMO Bopara's last 3 innings have shown that he might just have cracked this international malarky.

Carnage! Even as a lover of the proper form of cricket, this display by Bopara and lil Bairstow is superb to watch. Such level-headed types and with such a knowledge of when and where to play. They deserve to win it and they will.

Erm, I'm loving this but not really. Ten an over needed, Bopara's innings has been pretty shaky, and he plays this innings every time he bats, it's just sometimes the edges don't always reach the boundary. Bairstow is just trusting his shots and smacking the leather off it. Not a great deal of planning involved.
