I'm more concerned about chasing 270 / 40 with Cook, Trott and Bell in the first four than by the revised target itself. We need Kieswetter to stick around.

Good start from Kes. Absolutely needs to throw the bat, if he gets us ahead of the rate, we've got the batsmen to form steady partnerships and get us to the target to replace him. You can see why we're sticking with him, based on how valuable he'd be if he gets it right. A bit like Dernbach, except CK has actually shown signs of doing it.

Cook needs to find another way of dealing with the length ball just outside off, whenever he tries to cut it he looks like chopping on.
