Guess pressure got the better of him, and yes Hafeez was the one telling him to go single double so that he hits the boundaries instead.
But hes better than that, I am sure.
Besides, I am not going to judge the player on one T20 and since he was actually comfortably making single doubles I am convinced he is not a hack, He should have been given atleast one ODI to make himself comfortable.

faced a lower quality attack today then what he did in domestic 20-20 never rated him much back then and ofcourse my oponion has not changed after this knock.

Pakistan will be playing England next that will show how good they really are,, and if we keep ******** players like farhat, malik, sohail khan and adnan akmal in the side, then the same could be happening with us in a not so distant future,, and one thing I still cannot understand is how Asad Shafiq still cannot break into this ******** batting line up after pilling up performances,, and one more question which I have is that does the wicket keeping rights are exclusively with the akmal family???? why cant sarfaraz ahmed come into the side who has been the top wicket keeper in the domestic circuit,, even during the world cup it was suggested that umar akmal might exchange gloves with elder brother, when asad shafiq had been keeping wicket for karachi??? this PCB management is just nuts

Could have far more ugly for Zim yesterday if they just opened the bowling with Hafeez and have Ajmal on in the first 6 overs. Strange that it’s Hafeez who causes their batsman the most trouble, you would think their batsman would be well versed in facing up to a spinner who bowls flat and doesn’t turn it.
