***Official*** West Indies in England (Pointless 2 T20 series for Sky's benefit)

I guess it was a bit much to expect an intelligent thread on this topic on this forum....
8-)
Personally, I'm insulted that England have chosen to rest so many players for this pointless 20/20 series - LOL!

But if you're going to rest players, it's better to do it for pointless 20/20s, than for Tests and ODIs....
Listen ****, you bleated on like a ****ing girl for about six years about India not playing a full-strength side in the Carribbean, so if you can't take a bit of a ribbing then that says a lot about you really. And you obviously consider yourself above this forum, so how about you take your ****ty ****ing posts somewhere else where I don't have to read them?

Add Afridi as well....and B Murphy

Poorly researched article imho.
Fair cop. Kumble was a typo. Afridi and Murphy's single matches escaped my wearisome eyes. Think the basic point still holds though despite those two extra games in the spinners skipper log. Cheers for the eagle eyes and for reading anyway.

Thanks for taking it in the right spirit. Appreciate the effort.

Yes, occasionally I've graver confusions than that, but I don't understand the relevance of this here?

Wasn't entirely your fault actually, you quoted the blog which said Embers was a SLA, he wasn't.

Come on, England!

As an England fan, I usually quite like West Indian cricket, and would normally be neutral during a series like this. But the level of contempt shown by West Indian cricketers towards the Twenty20 tour of England has so soured the feelings of me and a number of my friends (also England fans) that we'll all be cheering for England this series....

Yes, England cricket is awesome these days, but we certainly didn't need a number of West Indian 'stars' to rub our noses in it. The fact that they did means that we'll be cheering every time a certain West Indian player is bowled, or a certain West Indian bowler is hit for six.

Here's our blacklist:

Whoever doesn't come

We will all be cheering any time any of those fare badly (unfortunately as they won't be here, that will limit our opportunities but I'll be damned if I'm not going to bleat about it like a little girl)....

Our commiserations to West Indies on their forthcoming loss.

FTR, we're all united in acknowledging Sachin Tendulkar as our favourite Indian batsman, with Gambhir close second, and we are glad this duo didn't visit the West Indies - give the ****s a taste of their own medicine. Good luck also to Dhoni, who skipped the ODIs.

And may Zaheer get loads of wickets in the future....

But in the end, we really hope England wins.

Haha, grecian's had a beverage, all becomes clear
May well be but you post like you've had a gallon of scrumpy, everytime I read you.

Trust me I'm not that drunk, or I'd tell my story of Glenn Chapple being humiliated by Lancashire fans when I went to Old Trafford, can't work out why he stuck by the moronic northern people.

This is a God awful West Indies squad picked. My word! Here's hoping for a miracle and that a one or two of them have a bit of talent.

I am actually looking forward to seeing Russell, Santokie and Barnwell play, but the likes of Christian, Bascombe and Charles have absolutely no business being near a West Indies A team never mind in the senior team.
