That was Rahane.

Dhoni didn't face Finn till the end. Neither did him or Raina give any chances.
Nah I meant early on in Dhoni's innings. Nicked a drive-slog in the air through an imaginary first slip on about 5.

Finn to Dhoni, FOUR, 146.3 kph, edged! No slip in place, Kieswetter leaps to his left but he can't even get a glove to it. Still no luck for Finn, who is still finding movement off the surface with this older ball. Dhoni was late coming forward to this full delivery, and the edge would've landed in first slip's lap

Yeah, just recalled that and edited the post.

Bit hard these days to have a slip in place in the 30th over or so with the old ball though.

Well if they're in the infield Dhoni will smash it past them and if they're in the outfield he'll knock it a foot to one side of them and take two. With Dhoni you may as well have them catching because you'll never keep him tied down.

Seems like you've watched precious little of Dhoni over last 3-4 years. He likes to settle down and slowly accumulate than go for it from the first ball. A slip would've meant a lesser outfielder which would only aid his style of batting. Show me modern ODI sides who keep a slip in the 32nd over to a reasonably settled batsman.

Just to add to this, Dhoni nicks out to first slip A LOT.

Where did I say that? It's been 45-55 this series, England have just about tipped all the matches, just a matter of time before we win some, and if Yuvi recovers in time for that series.. gonna be epic.
If you say so..

Sheesh, this is going to be tricky now, BTW the only reason CK got out was the pressure he felt because Trott was in next.
