***Official **** Pakistan in Zimbabwe

International Coach
Younis,Misbah and Farhat should not be part of our odi team the selection policy is baffling.

U19 Vice-Captain
Misbah is okay, Averaging above 60 since comeback justifies his selection and since he is the only captain, I would rather have him than not but Younis is unacceptable since he always sucked at ODIs.

even if he scores 178 its unjustified averages 32 @ 70odd SR and also is not young enough to play the next WC.

I ****ing hope Imran Farhat has a career ending injury in this match.I really do.

Why the **** is this utterly ******** piece of **** that disguises itself as a batsman allowed to play in place of a genuinley talented player like Rameez Raja Jr,when this ****tard has failed to perform at the international arena every ****ing time?!

Just for anyone interested, there's a free (and legal) stream of this game on bet365.com if you happen to have an account there. It'll probably be restricted to certain countries but it's working fine for me here in Australia.

We need him to play around a bit longer i think. Maybe for a couple of years i guess. By the way the more i look at Cheema more it make me angry :@ . He is as good fielder as Danish Kaneria was.

I don't know why they do it. I am a big fan of Imran Nazir, even he never got that much chances, he was selected for a couple of ODI's. If he didn't perform, they dropped him. But this guy has got more chances than Muhammad Sami. I don't know on which grounds he is playing in Pakistani side. His father in law is the national selector, if i am not mistaken. And yeah that guy Ramiz Raja deserved a chance to play all 3 ODI's.

I think 200 is a good score on this pitch. Ball is doing a bit even in fifteenth over.
Haha there's a little bit of assistance there but there's no way it's a 200 pitch. 250 par minimum. Whether Pakistan decide to be Pakistan and get rolled for 170 later or not is another matter of course.

Sorry forgot to mention 200 is good enough total for Pakistan :D .

It's not the pitch. There's a little bit there but not much more than you'd usually expect here. Just good bowling against batsmen who aren't natural one day cricketers.

You mean they are natural test match cricketers :P . But i think if they work hard, Zimbabwe can build a good side, better than Bangali bros.

Haha yeah, they are, in a way. They're not awesome or anything but Zimbabwe's top order are all far more suited to playing four and five day cricket than one dayers; it's been evident from them even in Zimbabwean domestic cricket. One day cricket by its very nature opens up more opportunities for lesser sides to cause upsets so they'll probably win a few more ODIs than Tests for that reason but most of their elite players have games far more suited to the longer version.

The top order especially have all built their games on sweating on the poor balls and hitting them along the ground for four. Strike rotation and over-the-top hitting aren't anywhere near as much a part of their games as classical strokemaking and shot selection.

Partnership developing here; really important to get carried away and throw it away though even if they just go at 3-3.5 for a little while.
