A week for the favourites meant some decent returns for the CW tipping community. Surprisingly perhaps though there were only two fixtures on which there was unanimous accord: the Storm to beat Newcastle and the Pies to beat WCE.

However there's no doubting the week's star performer and a man from outside of the two respective codes' communities in union's very own ripper, who returned a full house of eight. Creditable sevens from Vimes, Ausage, altoz and myself too. Less creditable altogether was a three from Augustus, whose loyalty to his brand of football is admirable in a way, but rather self-limiting.

Rips's maximum earns him a weekly bonus too.
