Nice fightback for Srilanka.

Good for Australia that they got some runs yesterday morning before eventually being dismissed. Just shows how poor Srilanka's first innings effort was too.

Yes he's economical, but he doesn't get batsman out by frustrating them. He gets most of his wickets by good balls, not rash shots.
This isn't an Australian pitch. Back home he'd bowl a little shorter and look for the edge, but on this pitch that's useless. On this pitch he's fuller and looking to entice a silly drive or get past the bat and hit the pads. He's bowling the right thing for conditions.

Bad move Pup. At least it's Watto who is very handy in these conditions, but you have to bowl Copes in long spells.
