Copeland hate starting to rise. "How is he different than all the Indian medium pacers or James Hopes or Andrew McDonald?".

Well firstly he is nearly two metres tall you idiots.

Need a leg gully, 15-20 from the bat for Lyon I think. Stop these little turns away for one and maybe get a top edge on the sweep

Aussie fans, when do you start to get concerned? Still a while yet? Maybe 70-100 runs away before you actually get worried?

Tell me what has Copeland changed now that Haddin is up to the stumps?
Nothing changed with Copeland.

Two things that changed are:

1. Batsman playing the bowler with more concentration and looking to dab balls away than playing big shots.

2. No edges.

1. They aren't playing big shots anyway, but they were taking the LBW out of the equation by standing out.

2. Edges aren't carrying.

Ok so firstly, you think the batsmen would be playing big shots if Haddin was back despite them being 5 down with 221 runs to get?

Secondly, Haddin up to the stumps has caused the batsmen not to edge the ball??

This is what Copeland is. He out patiences batsmen. He's not going to do anything different, but how long can the batsmen, especially Angelo, keep going before they try and force something. You just have to be patient. If you take him off you spoil his biggest advantage.

Yes, especially Mathews. If he saw one wide enough he would go for it. Now he would just let Haddin collect it and wait for a shorter one to get a single.

By that I meant if he edged it, he wouldn't be out.

Yes he's economical, but he doesn't get batsman out by frustrating them. He gets most of his wickets by good balls, not rash shots.
