Wicket is a road; nothing in it for the quicks whatsoever but maybe Pak will conspire to collapse against Price and Lamb.
Definitely one of the better Pakistani batting lineups in recent times, particularly in the context of what they'll need here. They have batsmen content to bat time and concentrate which, on this pitch against this attack, will be of far greater importance than technique and shot range. You can usually rely on Hafeez and Umar to throw it away after looking awesome regardless of the conditions but Taufeeq, Azhar, Younis and MIsbah should really be able to fill their boots on this track.

Sadly I can see that happening but Pak have an aversion to SLA. Price just needs to get one to turn and that should throw the cat among the pigeons. Ajmal bowled beautifully at times but general length seemed too short. Hafeez should have bowled at least 15 overs.

I wouldn’t be surprised. Lamb in next and he is more of a bowler than a batsman nowadays while their tail is pretty much 4 genuine number elevens. Tino still needs to bat time and go big but great day for Zim.

Very much doubt Cheema and Sohail Khan will play test cricket again. Very average. Junaid at least beat the bat a few times and should have had Tino.
Cheema was getting some movement, and did did look decent here and there, but Sohail Khan was atrocious. There is no way either will play a match for us again.

How was Junaid's bowling today? Was he generating much swing and pace? I heard that he was extremely unlucky today and should have had two wickets. Is that true?
He was decent when you consider the conditions.A little more help on the wicket, and he would have taken a few wickets.Looks like a very promising prospect TBH and it's obvious from the way the team management has shown faith in him since the West Indies tour.

Reckon Ajmal will snap up Lamb from the other end.

I'm betting Tino won't hit a boundary in the next 30 balls he faces.

The keeper loudly says, "One mistake boy, one mistake."

Pretty rich coming from the bloke who just inexplicably missed an easy stumping off him.

What I don't understand is how someone with such good concentration has such an abysmal Logan Cup record. You'd think he'd score a lot of runs there batting like this.

Crucial knock. Didn't watch him bat but I hope people don't look down on this innings because he batted slowly.

Review of the day :

Junaid was the pick of seamers, did everything except getting a nick, Cheema is more suitable to LOI format but he was trying to use the crease, variations and bowling slow balls which was a good sign on a dead flat road.
Sohail Khan, however, was wayward. I do not really know what happened to him, but he is supposed to be a good bowler as I have followed him in shorter domestic tournaments.
Ajmal was, as always, classy.

Misbah had his super duper, intelligent MBA (Oh yes, he has that degree ) decision to bowl first and therefore the bowlers are suffering.
