Hales is a notorious bad started. Came over to play for Dandenong, and basically said, "I will make runs, but there'll be a lot of ducks in there too."

Made 4 ducks and 4 tons in about 14 innings.

Interesting. That's a great player to have in a side that has reliable batsmen coming in, but I think England need a limited-overs opener to regularly get them a decent start.
