First of all if they are thinking like that, half the battle is lost in anycase.Should give Rahane a go.
But even if they are, then Sachin would be a better insurance than Dravid in LOI.
Sachin has been way way better than Dravid in IPL too. Dravid tbh has not been even making the IPL teams on performance alone and slows it down too much in t20's.
Think he has improved, tbh...Had got him out of the ODI setup after so much trouble and he is back now FFS!!
Hasn't played a match in a while too.
Still would have picked Sachin over him in t20's hindsight or not. And there were murmurs about leaving out Rahane too.
hindsight is just such a great power..
wag!!dravid's retires with a career strike rate of 147.61 then.
just talking about the general look off him as a batsman very very impressive.Rahane isn't a specialist opener though, and hard to compare on T20 vs Test match cricket.
I'm torn between ignoring the whole of England's innings and contributing a stream of FFS's as they struggle to pass 120 on this track. Haven't decided yet.Good catch from Mogs, that had some pace on it.
So, what attitude should we take when we lose this? I'm thinking of going for the tried-and-tested "smug indifference".
