And again!

Praveen Kumar's one of the few Indian players to come through this series with his reputation enhanced, IMO.

To be very honest, there's very few people outside Aus and Eng (including those on this forum) who give a **** about Test cricket. And it's unfortunate.

And with heavy defeats like these against the biggest market for cricket, it surely doesn't do this form of the game many favours.

With that said, my post was partly in jest.
The biggest market for cricket has been here 75 odd years. It's been **** at tests for 50 of them, competitive at home but very poor away for another 15, decent everywhere for 8 and was top of the pops for 2.

Test cricket was around before India became a power, and it will be around now India is reverting to type. Even when we were top of the pops for a decade, people weren't saying the game's survival is contingent on us getting good results forever.

What an incredibly conceited and arrogant attitude that is.

Edit: not that it's yours I should say, but if that's how the thinking goes in India, it's little wonder your stay at the top has been so short.

International Coach
Hes going to hit every ball irrespective of where its bowled. Just like Anderson bowling the short ball AGAIN, its not smart bowling. Bowl quick, straight at the stumps and this guy is a gonner.
