Gambhir's getting well forward though. The slowness of the pitch seems to be favouring India.

How Gambhir is still out there amazes me, how he's managed to score 23 off 17 is simply staggering. Looks all at sea, close LBWs three or four edges (some going for boundaries). At least he's sticking it out.
That's what I thought

wait a minute... so am i to understand that gambhir's imagine is that of a hopeless batsman against good fast bowling? gambhir isn't even that good in the SC his best record is away against south africa and nz.
edit: averages 60 in south africa and 80+ or so in new zealand
wow...I really didn't know this because I have not followed his career too much but I probably did not think of him too highly because his technique did not look so solid. I do know that he can grind it out in the middle as well as anyone though

Definitely one of those decks where even though it's moving around a bit, batting's best when the ball is hard. As it softens, reckon it'll be tougher to get it off the square.

The only grinding his middle's been doing is chocolate by the looks of it.

Yeah the ball is fair flying off the bat.

Can someone tell me what the hell happened to Broad in between series? Bowling impossibly well atm
I reckon its about time Anderson came good on that pre-series talk of Broad being ***ually molested mid-series. :@

Anderson's bowling too wide. Way too wide. Should go around the wicket aim at off trying to swing it either way. For me would make him more dangerous than he has been.

England need to be patient here. If they stick to their lines and stay patient then the ball should do the work for them in these conditions. Dravid is watching the ball very well though, it's going to take a peach or a brain explosion for him to be dismissed.

Yeah, AWTA. He's been doing it all series and it's just been strange.
