@benchmark...I said the Cevno post would have been enough to tip him into a ban. Slapping 20 points arbitarily on him though...nah. Specially given the examples they came up with. And forget about whether you like Furball or not, that sort of moderation just renders infractions pointless. That's the point.

Has nothing to do with me liking or disliking GF. He has been blatantly trolling, as have you. It may seem to you or others as not baiting, but clearly you two, and others, have been posting things just to piss off Indian supporters. He may have thought he was being clever and disguising it well, but he wasn't, was clear for all to see.
And yes, there have been some poor posting from Indian supporters too, but overall I think most of the trolling has been coming from the English side, though the perpetrators of it try and hide it behind a veil of 'opinion' rubbish.
Anyways, fully expecting England to slaughter India in this match.

I don't think much of my posting has been much different to during the Ashes tbf, although no doubt I've been happy to gloat a lot more here after being told I'm 'jealous' for months. Would be interested to know where you think I've been trolling, in all honesty.
Anyway, my point stands that an arbitrary 20 point ban renders infractions a tad pointless. Will say no more on the matter in this thread, as I said in Site Discussion I have general concerns that have arose via various instances over the past couple of months and this is just the trigger for me to raise them.

There has been plenty on both sides but GF was clearly doing it more often than most.
Anyway game starts in 3 and half hours so lets focus on that and another England win hopefully.

To be fair to the English supporters, had the scoreline been the reverse, I can easily see some of the Indian posters going overboard and posting the same way..

Think Gavaskar was sprouting out crap with his "England would have been out of India in a jiffy" tbh.. After all, they did come back very soon after the Mumbai attacks and KP made statements about standing shoulder to shoulder with India to show support against the terror attacks.. No reason why India should not do the same now..
In fact, in spite of all the animosity between the two sets of posters here and in the media, I think England and India have had a pretty good relationship as cricket sides and quite a bit of the big gestures get swept under the carpet amidst all this animosity...
