Unlikely to have played the tests tbh.

Out of form and a test match means that the batsmen have longer to work him out.

Maybe. But the test batsman are different and doesn't look like Marsh is gonna be able to decipher him any time soon..

And is he even in the SL test team right now?

For the love of god how hard is it to come outside the line of off-stump and work Mendis around for 1's and 2's, FFS the guy isn't throwing hand grenades..!!
