India need an early wicket to settle them down after that carnage. For us it is all about getting to close of play without losing a wicket.

England need Cook to play an innings of substance here. He's looked far too tentative in his three prior digs.

Really?

India on top still,imo.
but they will have to bat last. and the momentum is with england at the moment. if they pick up a couple of wickets before the close of play, then perhaps one could say that india is still on top.

Not like this pitch is gonna crumble batting last. And the last innings will most likely be on the 4th day.

Broad, what a hero. Unbe-****ing-lievable. If this lasts for another match or two Flintoff's 2005 comes under threat.

Can't believe bloody charity is making me miss this awesome Test. I left when Laxman got out (Bres (Y)); can someone fill me in since? I heard Trotsky may have been hurt?

Anyway, what's this balls about England being on top. There's a first-innings deficit for a reason. Need 300 2nd dig to be favourites.

Cook has started pushing out really hard in front of his front pad again. That deficiency he had against Pakistan last home summer.

Match's balanced on a knife's edge in my view. India's lead of 67 could be wiped out by a single watchful partnership, and the momentum is with England. On the other hand, Trott might be ruled out, and that brings things back into balance.
