As per the rules and the discussions on this, you should all be picking from Cevno's scorecard. However since we were playing this from a moral standpoint and giving time for those who could not come online, just pick from the scorecard of the guy above you.

Somerset will pick from Cevno's card once he next comes online. Joe to pick from marc's.

HB would trade you Tendulkar for Lara ,tbf:p
One would figure that's what he'd propose :p. But I must point out that HB actually picked Sachin ahead of Lara when he had the choice. IIRC it was because he wanted to pick the player that CW would rate higher on the poll.

Besides, I think Lara is essential to my lineup because he has that unique x factor that complements (to put it diplomatically) Kallis's bland consistency. I'd have considered taking Sachin if I had Sehwag, Ponting or Dravid instead of Kallis.

The 90's Tendulkar would fit in well with what you want and give you a right hander(if not the current version), plus now that he is short of Lefties i think HB would take Lara back considering his views.

Will randomize once I get into office. About trades, it does defeat the purpose of picking 12 but its all good fun so I dont mind.

we can have the trades AFTER the polling is done, juz for the fun of it.. maybe we can use the traded sides for sims,.

Joe and Cevno:

It is not just Lara to be fair.. I can consider a trade for Harvey too.. :) But yeah, not as good as having the Prince in the side. :p

I think Sachin does provide a BIT more to the side though because he can bowl a bit too. I mean, we can always assume we pick the player when he is still fit and not the 30 something guy today, so surely he can bowl a bit.

I've got Kallis. Part time bowlers can piss off :p

Harvey for Tendulkar.

*this is probably the point where talks break down irretrievably* :p

Eyes not spreadsheets
No to trades as it defeats the object of picking a squad of 12.

No to sim unless I'm allowed to designate one of my batsmen as keeper if I can't find a decent one to draft in the next 4 turns.
