*Official* First Test at Lord's

Doubtful. Even if he does play, I might go in with five bowlers - we definitely don't want a repeat of this Test - which is a very real possibility with him.
I'm not too good with identifying the strengths of pitches. But TB is mainly a good bowlers pitch with plenty of swing right?

What's up with Trott? Is he good with reverse swing or something like that? Last time also Strauss brought him just before taking the new ball...

Just to give the bowlers a rest before it, I think. Don't agree with it here at all though - if he wants to rest the quicks he should just run with Swann and Pietersen (who I see is on now).

Brought on to rest the main bowlers until the new ball. He isn't a reverse swing specialist...

Yeah, that's why I find it annoying. You'll see post after post that the author doesn't even mean in misguided attempts to somehow change the outcome of the match. It was funny for about 10 minutes.
Not everyone is as mature as you :p And besides, it totally works.

Giving Swann rest before taking the new ball seems like a weird move. Yes, Raina is a superb player of spin, but Dhoni (while being very good against mediocre spinners) falls to good spinners quite often.

Yeah, I don't really get it either. Fair enough having Trott/Pietersen from one end for a little spell before the new ball, but both on with Swann cooling his heels seems odd.

Not liking the idea of Trott and KP bowling here. Surely Swann could have bowled a few extra overs. This is just serving nothing but releasing the pressure.

Whenever Tendulkar takes this inexplicable approach to batting in 4th innings, he invariably fails. Don't know why he doesn't learn. :(

Weather and light permitting, how many overs does India need t play in total? 125, is it? (i see they have played 77.2 so far; so 47.4 to go?)
