Perfect time for Morgan to show off this temperament. I highly suspect that he'll knick one to first slip playing a forward defense just outside off to Sharma.

imo this was an accident waiting to happen. The position at the start of play massively flattered us given the poor performance of our opening bowlers, the dropped catches and the failure of most of our batsmen to go on with it in the first innings. Given how lucky KP was to reach 20, never mid 200, we could very easily be even deeper in the dire than we're now looking. Complacency maybe? Believing too much of what's been written about them lately? Possibly unfair, but we've been under par in this test and the chickens are coming home to roost big time. tbh we've not quite been there all summer, apart from that mad couple of hours at Cardiff.

I know India will probably lose this but I will say on the record that regardless of what happens, I'm very happy and satisfied with the way the three man attack has put their hand up, bowled all day and come up with a really good performance (even if the next partnership is for a 100).

I'll obviously be disappointing if India lose, but much less so than I would have been yesterday.

Give some credit to the bowler too. He is a much better bowler when the pitch is is quicker and has more carry,not when it is damp.
