*Official* First Test at Lord's

Tendulkar choked then, looked fine till he got to 32 then scratched around and got the edge he deserved.

As for the 2 drops, :@:@

Broad bowling very well here, looks like running through the Indian line up every over.
I take it as a credit when people say sachin choked. because it's right up there with saying bradman choked in his last.

Context has to be taken into account as well, though. It won us the Ashes in a high pressure situation, after the openers had a decent start, IIRC. Also, was so clever, with the use of cutters and change of pace. Not much in it, though, admittedly.
Yeah, that's true. But in terms of the actual bowling, he's doing exactly what he was that day.

Was working the last 2 days, been really busy, so couldn't catch the action. But now I'm excited to sit back, relax, and watch the English get some heavy dose of ass whoopin' :p

Cute of you to put an old highlights DVD on instead of watching the live action

You have to wonder if England dropped the no.1 test ranking in that over. If India gets away with a draw in this game, their chances of avoiding a series defeat are pretty bright.

Not really. Expect us to win comfortably at Trent Bridge and Edgbaston

Everyone expected a draw in this match anyway. A win for England would be a bonus.

Hmm disagree, reckon this is your best chance. The harder the surface the better for us tbh, makes dravid, tendulkar and laxman stand out that much more. Also it's hard to see Ishant and Bhaji bowling much worse than they did in the first innings. So much depends on Zaheer. Judging from these guys past tours I'd say that the longer the Indian players are here, the better they'll be too.

Also if the sun does decide to make an appearance this summer, it will negate Anderson and Broad a lot, reckon Zaheer and PK will swing it anywhere.

Loving David Gower taking about a batsman not getting his foot perfectly to the pitch when driving. He made a career of it.
