Just out of interest, as obviously they didn't appeal and all, but had that been given not out on appeal, they couldn't have reviewed it, could they? Surely hotspot and a slow-mo replay would have made it obvious that it was out.

No, but it wouldn't have been overturned in any case (ump's call on point of impact)

It's amazing, isn't it? Bowls fuller and suddenly looks the bowler most of us think he should be (and why so many had predicted him to be England's leading wicket taker in the Ashes)

Well done to Broad. Not often you'd hear anyone say it but he's bowled an exemplary line and length barring the first over. Might help if Tremlett and Anderson took a leaf out of his book and bowled a couple of balls on the stumps.

Oh it would have knocked off out of the ground, but we can say that because it was so full. Still wouldn't have been overturned.
