Bumble does realise that there is a big difference between how people bowl in IPL and how they bowl in tests?

See once it gets so line-ball near the ground like that, with all the stuff about foreshortening etc., I simply don't know. He probably caught that but probably isn't good enough in cricket.
For those who know their.**** - would the fact that Sky now broadcast in 3D help with the foreshortening issue?

Seems to have excellent stamina does Kumar. Wonder how many more he will be bowling here since the new ball is gonna be due after lunch.

Well I doubt they'd keep at this pace after lunch if they still have wickets.
Yeah, it's a patience game, especially as India are a bowler short. Losing wickets in trying to accelerate would only hurt their cause. Their run-rate is slower than usual, and you have to give a lot of credit to India for that, but there's no hurry at this stage.

why are the commentators crying? do they need an IPL contract?
Theres a clean screenshot when the ball is hitting the ground.

They are waiting for the bowlers to get tired, they know india have only 3 main bowlers. I get a feeling they will step up the run rate after lunch

Sedate fifty by KP.
Think they would have to step up the scoring a bit.
At this rate, even if England bat till end of day, it will reach only around 400.
It's not as simple as that. The Indians have bowled well and kept it tight. We're doing well at the moment and it's best to keep wickets than worry about run rates in what is a 5 day game.

Don't think he caught it tbh.
Me neither. Hands get around it but the bottom just looks like its poking out rubbing against the ground.

Decent start this morning from England although it has been a tad turgid at times. Not been impressed by Harbhajan this morning seems to have been way too easy to knock away and get the odd boundary off. Worrying for India as Dhoni's next in line to bowl...

Not familiar with the issues of TV images trying to capture things like this, I take it?
