Quick glance at sign-ups so far - Bit light on in the Pigs, and the defence is going to leave alot to be desired.

Yeah, that's generally the way sign-ups go. On CricSim I believe we have enough scrum halves for about 12 teams but only enough hookers for 4.

Wow. Not a small country to be player of the year of (though presumably not a large Union playing pool). What position do you play in real life, Rhino?

Might I ask wtf "Godly Technique" means for a flyhalf 8|
Well, it's not the best selection for a first-five, but I guess it may make them marginally less useless if they get involved in a ruck from time-to-time. Pretty much a skill to use for set-piece dominant Forwards.

Wing. First outside back to win the award. I am very good going forward but average in defense. People want me to play in the centres to see a lot more of the ball but I enjoy the easy life, and glory, of wing. Also, I have a League background and I will be ****ed if I want to get involved in rucks. I was a full-back in League but the duties are obviously different.

There isnt a massive playing pool but the standard is decent. Suprisingly a lot of Island guys, especially PNGers. There is a growing number of Filipino players but of the two teams in the national final, my team was primarily ex-pats from UK, US, France, Aus, NZ, Japan and the opposition was primarily young Pacific Islanders, a few Westerners and Filipino National Dev squad players.

We dominated the league in the forwards and I was lucky enough to get lots of one-on-ones on the outside to average 3 tries a game.

Average three tries a game. Well. Some people have all the skill, don't they. If only it could have been shared more equitably amongst the rest of us. ;)

Seriously though, good stuff. Are you enjoying it over there?

I dont understand why there are not 10 times more Westerners living here. The poverty is crushing but--and I dont mean to sound insensitive--you get used to it. Traffic is bad and there are troubles in the South.

However, it is English speaking, cheap, hot, good sports for participation, low crime, good drinking, large and diverse ex-pat crowd, domestic help and women are easily available.

Compared to Bulgaria and South Africa, this is where I would settle down if I had to. Life is easy if you have a bit of cash.

Only people who find it tough are single women, wives that do not work-- lots of husbands (obv not me) cheat here, and those who cannot live without art galleries and the opera.
