Lets hope the weather stays away, all this hype for nothing otherwise. Be a good toss to lose though as if the ball doesn't do as much as they think it will Lord's is generally just a good batting pitch so you might look foolish if you insert and not a lot happens.

Hm, not sure about that. I think England's stance was "Full UDRS = best, but any UDRS > no UDRS" and India's was "no ball tracking!" - in which case it's easy to see how it all unfolded.
I loved Dhoni's comments in the press conference. India aeen't 100% convinced by the predictive element of ball tracking so don't want it used, yet are quite happy to accept HotSpot.

Someone should show them Bell's non dismissal in Sydney or Kemar Roach's dismissal in Perth.

Quite so.

pasag's return to Cricket Chat arguably just as big an event as this Test, tbh

With the footy season in full swing, I've been out of cricket for a while, but man I'm excited for this Test. Nothing better than evenly matched cricket in England. I have no doubt this will be an amazing series.
Good to have you back in the forum..

Broad. Sigh.

He needs to step his game up about 500% from the tripe he dished out against Sri Lanka. I'm not sure this pitch is the right one for him either.
