Eh? Your only pick following me is Gavaskar and he's one of the best 2 opening batsmen ever according to the ICC favourites poll (which in no way loses credibility for selecting Kapil Dev as best all rounder ever)
I'd like to second this.

In no way is my decision influenced by having him in my team or anything.

Yes, if it had a rating for keeping it might've been more realistic, but it doesn't so is pointless IMO.

You ask a question.

The guy after you quotes someone from another post and your feel like Ijaz Butt's mother did when he was born.

This forum lacks love.

If there's a sim I'm not picking a keeper then, just randomly designate one of my batsmen as keeper.
I hope that's not allowed. You need to select someone as your wicketkeeper who has actually kept at test level. So, the likes of Dravid are not allowed. I don't think that's explicitly stated somewhere as a rule, but this comes under the word you were using earlier - 'sportmanship'. Selecting a player minutes after 12 hours of the player before you has passed doesn't mean breaching 'sportmanship', but selecting Donald Bradman as your wicketkeeper does.

And I don't think there's anyone here except you who opposes a sim here, as long as we don't get someone who wants fielding points in sim too. These sims work with a limitation, they are good only as long as they're taken as a fun exercise and people don't become too grumpy and nagging.

IMO, if there's a sim, irregular keepers (Sangakkara, Walcott etc) should have their batting stats while keeping only count.
