I have, and usually end pissed off with them because of tossers who have no regard for any sense of sportsmanship in them by snatching within seconds of times elapsing, especially when people have warned they may be struggling to get on. 12 hour drafts mean this sort of issue can often occur,
A rule is a rule for everyone. And it's very fair as long as the rule is applicable to all.

It could be me in salman's place (in fact, I missed Malcolm Marshall in the 1st round for being late) but I didn't cry foul for that (neither would I even if I had warned beforehand that I maybe late).

Neither am I :( At the end of the draft I will make an XI that I would have got if I was in best positions in each round, just for fun.
As far as I can see, there is no best place, in terms of order to be in the draft.

I mean, there might be nobody good to pick from your scorecard, but you've got to blame the **** in front off you for that.

Eh? Your only pick following me is Gavaskar and he's one of the best 2 opening batsmen ever according to the ICC favourites poll (which in no way loses credibility for selecting Kapil Dev as best all rounder ever)
